I was hoping to do a week long Baby Shower feature with tutorials for my sister’s shower. Yeeeahhh. Then life got in the way. We ended up driving to Calgary and having the shower after the baby was born, for obvious reasons.

My Uncle and Aunt offered to host the shower at their house. Their 2 girls helped out with the decorations and putting my ideas into reality J

HoneyBear and I worked on the thank you for coming tokens… we made chocolate dipped marshmallow rattles! They were super cute!

We decided to have it in the evening and have both male and female guests. The “theme” was vintage baby.

We played a few games like match game with the new Mommy and the diaper pin game. We also got everyone to fill out a Dear Norah letter… I am getting them bound for her. This is what HoneyBear wrote:

Instead of cards I asked everyone to bring their favorite childhood book, to help get their library started. This was a great idea, they got some wonderful books in both French and English.
