I like being busy and juggling a lot of things at the same time. I get bored easily, so I need to do a lot.

Ellen DeGeneres

I’m sorry.

I have been MIA for the past few weeks…

June is bonkers.

Oh… I miss Bonkers!

Do you remember those candies that were kind a like Starburst but they were like a little square of strawberry wrapped around cherry flavored Candy in the middle?

Yeah June has been ridiculous, crazy, insane, fast paced and full of SMILES!

It is been nonstop, but all good! We have been having fun as school and all the activities are coming to a close.

SBean LOVES puzzles, painting, stickers, singing, Leapfrog, ABC’s, and knock knock jokes…

i.e KNOCK KNOCK

Who’s there?

HORSEY

Horsey Who?

HORSEY MACARONI AND CHEESE bahahahahahahaha

annnnd repeat lol.

She is also LOVING her balance bike!

We were super lucky to get a visit from my Sis and SweetPea 🙂 It was a short visit but we had a ton of fun 🙂 It was Dad’s surprise for Father’s Day 🙂

HBear had her final recital for Broadway. It was Peter Pan inspired,

HBear had her field trip to the Safety Village! Awesome place! Super informative and they went over fire safety too!

We went to the park,

We visited Mommies,

We Had a BLAST at the beach… well some of us did 🙂

We had a picnic at the Law Courts downtown,

As my sister put it. “The Daily Grind… Behind the Scenes” LOVE IT!

We read together,

Water parked,

And said goodbye 🙁

The next day HBear had Sports Day at her school,

This weekend we took a drive to Anarchist Mountain to see the view from above,

And got our wiggles out at the park,

There are so many stories I could tell. I could tell you how proud I am of HBear showing us everything she’s learned in all of her recitals.  I could tell you all about SBean and her sassy ways lol. I could tell you all about my SweetPea and how much I LOVED seeing those 3 girls together… my heart.

BUT, I choose this story 🙂

Ninja and I are coming up on our 5 year anniversary.

The day we got married I got my makeup done at the Spa at Spirit Ridge. The makeup artist explained to me that I just HAD to reapply this lipstick/lip plumper throughout the ceremony and the evening. Of course I said OK not realizing I was throwing almost $100 down the lipstick-tube. LOL My sister as my Maid of Honor held on to it for me.

This past week my sister handed me my wedding lipstick, “Here I forgot I had this”

LOL

When I turned it over I read the shade name…

Fate 🙂

Tonight I made a stirfry that was super easy and delicious. Definitely an easy 30 minute dinner with lots of flavor 🙂

Shanghai Pork Noodles
Adapted from The Daring Gourmet
cup soy sauce
¼ cup oyster sauce
2 tablespoons sugar
½ tablespoons fresh ginger, finely minced
1 package pork cubes
1 bag fresh noodles, cooked according to package instructions
2 tablespoons high heat cooking oil
4 cloves garlic, sliced thinly
Handful of chives, cut into 1-inch pieces
1 pepper, sliced
½ bag of broccoli slaw
1½ tablespoons cornstarch dissolved in 1 cup chicken stock
1½ tablespoons sesame oil

Combine the soy sauce, oyster sauce, sugar and ginger and stir until the sugar is dissolved.

Place the pork in the marinade and let sit for 10 minutes.

Heat the oil in a heavy skillet on high heat and fry the pork for one minute or until done (set the reserved marinade aside).

Remove the pork and set aside.

Fry the slaw, peppers and chives along with the garlic for 30 seconds or until tender.

Return the pork to the pan along with the reserved marinade, the sesame oil, and the chicken/cornstarch mixture. Cook for 30 seconds.

Add the noodles and stir until combined.
