Happy Birthday to Me, Bourbon Chicken and Office Redo

I think I’ll take a moment, celebrate my age

The ending of an era and the turning of a page

Now it’s time to focus in on where I go from here
Lord have mercy on my next thirty years

Birthdays.
What can I say, I am another year older lol.
I remember when 35 was OLD, now I think, wow, I am so young with so much to experience and learn.
It is actually pretty exciting… what may come…

Today was pretty quiet. I am just finishing up the office. Well, the painting is done and the furniture is rearranged; now I just need to put pictures up and organize to make the office as functional as possible.

This is the way the office used to look. I mean, I took these pictures a while ago, my mom is in them lol

This was the closet before I made it into my craft area J
I started by taping out my lines…

And puttying J

Then came the dreaded cutting!!!!

And then the rolling…

Next I did my stripes!

Finally TADA!
Dad’s side is in Vancouver Canuck colors…

and Ninja’s side is in Edmonton Oiler colors J

Now I just have to get it organized LOL

To me birthdays mean…

I get a free Starbucks Caramel Macchiato!!! Did I tell you I moved up in the world? Yup, I got a gold card for Starbucks! It even has my name on it… come to think of it, I’m not sure if I should be proud of that or embarrassed? LOL

After I got my coffee it was time to go to the school for Hot Lunch, then vacuuming, a little bit of groceries, Ninja popped by with some Birthday Lillys J

and I prepped all my stuff for dinner tomorrow.
That’s right we ordered out dinner ON my birthday so I could spend my time making dinner for the next day LOL

Before dinner I ran up to visit Mom. I thought it was only right that we celebrate today together… it was her that put the birth in birthday lol. It was pouring rain on me as I sat there staring at her marker. I still can’t believe this has happened. I miss her everyday but today I miss her extra much…
For my birthday dinner we had Little Caesar’s Deep Dish Pizza, Boston Pizza Caesar salad and Thai chicken bites. YUMMY! You know what makes it taste even better? I didn’t cook it! LOL

Did I mention Moon Curser Border Vines, ummm yeah J

After dinner the guys went to their last night of bowling and HBear had Sparks.

Did I mention that I got spoiled?

I got spoiled. LOL

Dad got me shoes and is getting me a haircut and Mani tomorrow 🙂

Ninja and the girls got me…

Are you ready for this?

An iPhone!!!!!

I actually have a real phone 🙂

It is yellow and HBear picked out a VERY special case! I LOVE it!!!!

Spoiled = ME!

The other day I made Bourbon Chicken. It is my go to easy chicken dish. Add some rice and a veggie and you are good to go J
